What is Nursery Mix

One of Bricko's dearest friends, Bill Bambrick, had suggested the original idea for an all purpose mix to condition the soil or to plant directly into without a lot of extra work...and his idea was a great one! Other ideas were gathered from Tom Rapp of Aiken (Horticulturist) and Paul Blankenship (Rosarian and Judge). So we worked on the formula and manufactured our custom nursery mix. Nursery mix works well for most all plants, vegetables, shrubs, trees and turf. And of course, roses love it too.

Why is so good? The first and most important reason is that it contains Compostost. It is enriched with Kricket Krap, dolomite lime and 16-4-8 fertilizer. All of this is mixed well with composted pine bark, and aged before selling.

Many of our customers ask why the city of Aiken is always so lush and beautiful and that answer is simple. Tom Rapp plants everything in Bricko's organic enriched nursery mix. Quite often our customers from Aiken will ask us for the Tom Rapp/Aiken Mix.
